First Ring..........
Now is already Oct and time flies as we will be heading 2012 in about 3 months time......Finally I have some time and I made my first set of couple rings today after a long session of painting, painting and painting... The result turns out to be quite satisfying^^ Unfortunately I am running out of art clay silver and I would properly stop making silver pieces as the price of a pkt of metal clay is way way too expensive for me!! Well, let's see if the price of silver drops.....................
Also this is an announcement for my Etsy shop, ***MY LAST ORDER FOR THE DEC SEASON IS ON 20TH NOV. ***
Festive season is coming and yes that means we want to prevent any late delivery of orders. Please be assured that I am keenly to help you to avoid the heart aching and unpleasant transit jam that normally occurs from late Nov to Dec. Isn't it better to receive your orders early than late^^?? I have ever heard cases when customers only received their orders at the end of Dec or even on Jan...sad ya, so please please place your order early as I am also running out of art clay silver. Hence I wont be able to handle many 'made to order' custom orders.

A Peaceful Afternoon
This is one of the most exciting pieces I have made... If you have noticed , those pendants which I have created out of art clay silver are now sculpted with more delicate details. I have also included stories at time to make the concepts more meaningful... Now I have many ideas, thinking of joining scenery into my designs. This pendant entitled 'A Peaceful Afternoon', is a start of this set of series.

Concrete Jewellery
These are the rest of the concrete pieces I have finished recently. Some of them will be for sale in my etsy shop.
Sweet and cute "Cherry Blossom" filled with pink tinted concrete. I had a hard time making this but isn't the piece itself beautiful??
This piece is called "Primary House" as I have used the primary colours for the concrete. I will be using this for the Aspiring Metalsmiths March Challenge. This is the very first time that I am joining the challenge. A bit nervious...haha...
This is my favorite piece!! "Sunshine after rain" Though I do not really like the strong and humid weather in singapore, it is still quite nice to have the warm sensation blushing over my skin... I feel alive!!!

Aspiring Metalsmiths: My Early Stage of Jewelry Crafting...
This is the 2nd time that I participated in the Aspiring Metalsmiths Blogroll. This Jananury blogroll is about the first piece of jewelry I made. If you remember, I only started crafting metal clay jewelry last September, so my early jewelry were mostly made of swarovski crystals, jades, brass, charms and other gems stones. I'll divide the process into different stages.
Stage 1) Chinese Orients
My very first works are more to the eastern orient style when I made earrings using jades, cinnebars, cloisonne.
Stage 2) Sweet Romantism
I normally lost interest of a style very fast especially when I only make jewelry for a few months. I just love those sweet sweet pink elements, polymer clay flowers, butterfly charms and swarovski crystals...
Stage 3) Swarovski Fanatic
I love colours and the best advantage about swarovski products is that there is a wide range of colours. Just like the colours that are available for paintings, so I really loved using those colourful crystals.
Stage 4) Gemstones and precious metals
I got into a classy mood that I thought that better quality materials like sterling silver and precious gem stones should be able to help me to reach another higher end market.
Stage 5) Flexible metal clay
Of course I still have many more other experiments such as painted pendants, combinations of pearl and etc but I will skip all those if not this blog is going to be very long. This is my very first metal clay pendant^^ I still love it until now...haha...I at times feel that 'Wow this is a fast growth'. I will continue with this medium for the time being as there are many techniques I really want to learn. I'm going to start combining cement into my works, so stay tune ya^^
Please check up the interesting blogs of my other talented teammates to find out their early jewelry!!

I'm trying to include some scenery to my metal clay works. Basically, the concept is to bring in meaningful story to each of the OOAK pendant I have made. Making it more interesting with details like these tiny birds is a challenge too...haha... This pendant entitled 'A Peaceful Afternoon' is available in my shop now.
I finaly bought some stones and learnt to set them on my metal clay pendant. This is the very first try and I think that the outcome is sweet and elegant. The stone is AAA purple faceted round amethyst cabochon.
I'm trying to introduce 3D space into my work. This is the first try too...
